The perfect drink to welcome in the new year with.
I absolutely love how tasty and simple this drink is. It’s a wonderful way to turn one of my favorite summer drinks into a festive winter cocktail.

Elderberry Apple Cider Mimosa Ingredients:

  • Champagne: Your champagne of choice, any will do really. I used an extra dry champagne because I find it to be a bit sweeter than Brut. Prosecco would also be delicious with this recipe.
  • Apple Cider: I used a regular organic apple cider. If you would prefer an extra spice element for this drink then you could do a spiced apple cider instead. I prefer the regular apple cider in this drink seeing as our elderberry syrup is full of spices such as cinnamon and star anise.
  • Elderberry Syrup Lady Organic Elderberry Syrup: Our syrup contains cinnamon and star anise which are really brought out in this recipe, creating a wonderful cozy ambiance when enjoying this drink.
  • Cinnamon Sugar: This is an optional garnish but i highly recommend it! The cinnamon sugar rim really adds an extra sweetness in every sip.

Spiced Elderberry Mimosa Recipe:

Serving Size: 1
Time: 5 min.

Ingredients:
2 parts Champagne
1 part Apple Cider
1 part Elderberry Syrup Lady Organic Elderberry Syrup

Directions:
Combine all the ingredients in a glass of your choice (or make a larger batch in a pitcher) and you’re good to go!
I also recommend adding a cinnamon sugar rim, to make it even better and dress it up a bit.

Cinnamon Sugar Rim:
On a plate, combine sugar and cinnamon (equal parts) and mix together.
Before pouring your mimosa into your glass, dip the rim of the glass in a small amount of apple cider (or honey for a thicker coating on the rim) and then dip the glass in the cinnamon sugar mixture enough to coat the rim.

Then just pour and enjoy!

This drink is PERFECT for the occasion. It’s simple, light, and will add a little spice to your typical new years beverage.
